PoorWater Update

For the last couple of months, we have been shooting our first music video for our song, "Existential Crisis." Below is a shot taken in one of the scenes of the video as Michael (my cousin) looks out over a sunset at Canyon Lake.

The music video illustrates the original idea behind the song. It takes inspiration from many of our life experiences in the work world. The main character in the video, played by Michael, starts out by working hard in his cubicle and trying to sort through all of the tasks he's been given. After a while, the crushing weight of his job and his inability to escape start to eat away at his sanity.

We had a great time putting this together and it turned out even better than expected. We've had a lot of great responses including a blog written about it by DJ Cynfully Luscious and placement as the video of the week on www.globalonslaught.com. If you want to see some awesome behind the scenes pictures from the office scenes in the music video, check out my Music Video Update blog from February.

On April third, a brazilian online radio station wrote a post about us in Portuguese. It's pretty cool! You can check it out here. If you open it in Google Chrome, it will give you the option to translate it to English.

A couple of weeks ago, we had another show at Martini Ranch in Scottsdale;

This week, we were also featured in a podcast for www.rockprodigyradio.com. The site is based out of Belgium and they play music from all around the world. Check it out here!

This is the next show we have coming up. We're really excited about this one! It's going to be fun!

Music Video Update 1

We started filming our music video for "Existential Crisis" a couple of weeks ago at our show at Martini Ranch. Bill took video of us playing "Existential Crisis" during our show as well as video of Michael (my cousin and the star of our video) rocking out in the crowd. This is for a section later in the video where Michael leaves the dreariness of his cubicle and goes to a PoorWater concert :)

Us on stage at Martini Ranch.
 My Dad, Grandpa, and Michael rocking their PoorWater t-shirts!

Yesterday, we started filming the cubicle portion of the video.

 James and Rock are putting the cubicle together. Everything that is "work oriented" has been hand made out of cardboard and duct tape by the band members.
